Physiotherapy on the Costa del Sol

English-speaking physiotherapy on the Costa del Sol – expert care for physical complaints during a short or extended stay between Torremolinos and Marbella.

What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy focuses on treating conditions of the musculoskeletal system, including muscles, joints, and nerves. The goal is to maintain or restore function. Whether you're dealing with an acute or chronic issue, or recovering from surgery or injury, physiotherapy can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support independent living.

Treatment typically includes a combination of manual techniques, exercise therapy, posture correction, and – when needed – additional methods such as dry needling or lymphatic drainage. We aim to address the root cause of your complaint, not just the symptoms.

Physiotherapy on the Costa del Sol

Our clinic offers high-quality physiotherapy for both local residents and international visitors. You can book an appointment without a referral for an initial assessment and personalised treatment. When needed, we will advise you to consult a doctor or specialist.

We also provide continuity of care. A change in climate, long-distance travel, or reduced activity may worsen existing complaints. If you've had surgery in your home country and want to continue treatment in Spain, it's reassuring to be supported by an experienced English-speaking physiotherapist who can – if needed – coordinate with your healthcare provider back home.

Personal attention and clinical expertise

Our therapists have years of experience in both English and international healthcare systems and speak multiple languages. Each treatment is tailored to your specific needs, with time and attention given to your personal story, medical background, and recovery goals.

At our Mijas/Fuengirola location, we also collaborate with a neighbouring gym to provide guided exercise programmes and targeted rehabilitation.

We treat, among other things:

  • Back and neck pain:
  • Shoulder and arm issues:
  • Hip, knee and foot conditions:
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation:
  • Lymphoedema and cancer-related care
  • Stress-related pain, overuse injuries and work-related conditions

Quick access to treatment

You don't need a referral to see us, and in most cases we can offer you an appointment within a few days. For acute complaints or recurring injuries, early treatment is important to prevent worsening.

Are you on holiday or visiting the region temporarily? We'll tailor the frequency of your sessions to the time you have available.

Home visits available

If health issues or limited mobility prevent you from visiting the clinic, we also offer home physiotherapy within a reasonable distance from our Mijas/Fuengirola location.

This service is available to both residents and temporary visitors, for example after surgery or in the case of chronic conditions.
